Transformative Fabric

Transformative Fabric is a project aimed at promoting economic inclusion for transgender women in Salvador. The project was a partnership between SER and AMORA, an organization that produces affirming toys, and its first edition was funded by the Toyota Brazil Institute. The classes took place at Vale do Dendê’s headquarters in Pelourinho, Salvador, and benefited 40 transgender women, most of whom were living in highly vulnerable social conditions.

Recreating with Art

Bahia Norte Concessionaire supports the socio-environmental initiative Recriando com Arte, located in the Fazenda Madeira community in Candeias, Bahia. The group is made up of six women entrepreneur seamstresses who transform used banners into new products, promoting the circular economy and generating local income.

Capoeira Groups

The Antonio Carlos Magalhães Institute for Action, Citizenship, and Memory (IACM) is an organization founded in tribute to politician ACM (Antonio Carlos Magalhães), with its headquarters in Pelourinho, in Salvador, Bahia.

Electric Tree

A movement for the restoration of the Atlantic Forest in Bahia, using Salvador’s Carnival as a mobilization strategy. In partnership with the JK Cooperative in Mata de São João, 2,344 native seedlings were planted. An initiative carried out by SER in partnership with Aú Marketing com Propósito and Objectiva.

Community Entrepreneurship Program

SER developed and implemented the Enterprise Modeling methodology for the Comunidade Empreende Program, a project by Parque Social, which focused on creating ventures that could help solve challenges in Bairro da Paz and Salvador’s Historic Center.

Impacta Bahia Incubation Program - PIB

The Impacta Bahia Incubation Program (PIB), led by SER and Startei, supported and helped grow 30 businesses led by Black leaders from the outskirts of Salvador. PIB was made possible through a crowdfunding campaign on the Benfeitoria platform, and its funding was tripled thanks to the support of the Instituto de Cidadania Empresarial (ICE), Impact Hub São Paulo, and Fundação Tide Setubal.
