Transformative Fabric

Transformative Fabric is a project aimed at promoting economic inclusion for transgender women in Salvador. The project was a partnership between SER and AMORA, an organization that produces affirming toys, and its first edition was funded by the Toyota Brazil Institute. The classes took place at Vale do Dendê’s headquarters in Pelourinho, Salvador, and benefited 40 transgender women, most of whom were living in highly vulnerable social conditions.
